Älta IF

Älta IF was one of 82 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Älta IF, 149 other teams from 15 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 25 different groups, whereof Älta IF could be found in Group 18 together with Fana IL, Haslum IL 1, Lugi HF 1, Samara Region and Herning FH 2. Älta IF continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Kungsängens SK with 5-15. In the Final, Bording KFUM won over Samara Region and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 15. Älta comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (Among others: Kungsängens SK, Årsta AIK, HK Silwing/Troja, Huddinge HK, Hammarby IF, Täby HBK, Skuru IK, Sollentuna HK, Stockholmspolisens IF and Bollstanäs SK).
