Samara Region

Samara Region was one of 12 clubs from Russia that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Samara Region, 149 other teams from 15 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 25 different groups, whereof Samara Region could be found in Group 18 together with Fana IL, Haslum IL 1, Lugi HF 1, Älta IF and Herning FH 2. Samara Region made it to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 18. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Bording KFUM with 10-14. Thereby Samara Region finished second in G15 A-Play-off during Partille Cup 2018. Samara Region comes from Togliatti which lies approximately 2300 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than Samara Region, the club TOL`YATTI does also originate from the area around Togliatti.
