Spånga HK

Spånga HK was one of 78 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Spånga HK, 110 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Spånga HK could be found in Group 14 together with Nit/Hak HK 1, Skive FH, SANTA CRUZ, Sogndal IL and Rapp SPKL. Spånga HK continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against HK Aranäs with 9-16. In the Final, FC Midtjylland won over Skövde HF and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 16. Spånga comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Among others: Skuru IK, Täby HBK, Tyresö Handboll, Stockholmspolisens IF, Hammarby IF, IFK Tumba, Åkersberga HK, AIK Handboll, Lidingö SK and Bollstanäs SK).
