Sogndal IL

Sogndal IL was one of 100 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Sogndal IL, 110 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Sogndal IL could be found in Group 14 together with Spånga HK, Nit/Hak HK 1, Skive FH, SANTA CRUZ and Rapp SPKL. Sogndal IL continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Skedsmo HK 1 with 6-20. In the Final, Oppegård IL 1 won over Skedsmo HK 1 and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 16. Sogndal IL also participated in Girls 15 during Partille Cup 2016. They reached the 1/32 Final in G15 B-Play-off, but lost it against Raelingen HK 1 with 5-6. Sogndal comes from Sogndal which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place.
