In addition to IK Sävehof, 11 other teams from 7 different countries played in Boys 21. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof IK Sävehof could be found in Group 1 together with HSG Mörlen, Saskatchewan Junior men, Hjortshöj Egå IF, Hörning Håndbold and H43 Lund. IK Sävehof made it to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Hjortshöj Egå IF with 15-18. Thereby IK Sävehof finished second in B21 A-Play-off during Partille Cup 2017.
