Hornbaek SF

Hornbaek SF was one of 40 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Hornbaek SF, 129 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof Hornbaek SF could be found in Group 2 together with Ottestad IL 2, Sjundeå IF, Kjelsås IL, Ull/Kisa IL 1 and Gustavsberg IF HK. Hornbaek SF continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Stjördals/Blink IL with 11-14. In the Final, HK Silwing/Troja won over Helsingör IF and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 15. Hornbaek SF also participated in Girls 14 during Partille Cup 2016. They reached the Semi final in G14 A-Play-off, but lost it against Helsingör IF 1 with 12-16. Hornbaek SF comes from Randers which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Randers does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (AGF Håndbold, Team Favrskov Håndbold, Hjortshöj Egå IF, Vorup FB, Brabrand IF, Bjerringbro FH and Hammel GF).
