Sjundeå IF

Sjundeå IF was one of 7 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Sjundeå IF, 129 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof Sjundeå IF could be found in Group 2 together with Ottestad IL 2, Hornbaek SF, Kjelsås IL, Ull/Kisa IL 1 and Gustavsberg IF HK. Sjundeå IF continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Rödekro IF with 7-14. In the Final, HK Silwing/Troja won over Helsingör IF and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 15. Sjundeå comes from Sjundeå which lies approximately 740 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Sjundeå does also provide two additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Dicken and BK-46 Karis).
