In addition to Ski IL, 110 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Ski IL could be found in Group 8 together with Flatås IL, IK Sävehof 2, OV Helsingborg, Haukar and BK Ydun. Ski IL continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Ull/Kisa IL 2 with 12-17. In the Final, FC Midtjylland won over Skövde HF and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 16. Ski IL also participated in Girls 15 during Partille Cup 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in G15 A-Play-off, but lost it against Hammel GF with 10-12.
