THW Kiel

THW Kiel was one of 22 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to THW Kiel, 60 other teams from 14 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof THW Kiel could be found in Group 6 together with Torslanda HK, Alberta Team Handball, Eskilstuna Guif, Skanderborg HB and F.C. do Porto 1. THW Kiel made it to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 6. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Torslanda HK with 16-18. Thereby THW Kiel finished second in B18 B-Play-off during Partille Cup 2017. THW Kiel comes from Kiel which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Kiel does also provide three additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (SG Handball EIdertal, Suchsdorfer SV and MTV Dänischenhagen).
