IFK Mariefred

IFK Mariefred was one of 91 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to IFK Mariefred, 88 other teams from 15 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof IFK Mariefred could be found in Group 11 together with Lilleström HK-90, Korea Youth National Team, Sotra SK, Aarhus HK and IK Sävehof 1. IFK Mariefred continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against HSC Haltern-Sythen with 4-14. In the Final, AG Håndbold won over Brabrand IF and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 16. IFK Mariefred comes from Mariefred which lies approximately 340 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Mariefred does also provide three additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (Bålsta IF, IFK Tumba and Kungsängens SK).
