Aarhus HK

Aarhus HK was one of 36 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Aarhus HK, 88 other teams from 15 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Aarhus HK could be found in Group 11 together with Lilleström HK-90, IFK Mariefred, Korea Youth National Team, Sotra SK and IK Sävehof 1. Aarhus HK continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Hellerup IK 1 with 7-13. In the Final, Hellerup IK 1 won over Skanderborg HB and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 16. Aarhus comes from Aarhus which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Aarhus does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (Hörning Håndbold, Team Favrskov Håndbold, Vejlby-Risskov IK, Stautrup IF, Skanderborg HB, Hjortshöj Egå IF, Christiansbjerg IF, Harlev IK, Brabrand IF and HEI/VRI).
