Viking HK

Viking HK was one of 92 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Viking HK, 69 other teams from 18 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Viking HK could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Nora, BRFC, Kärra HF 2, EHA National Boys (SP) and AHV Swift. Viking HK continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against HEI/VRI with 7-16. In the Final, Niger United won over IK Sävehof 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 16. Viking HK also participated in Boys 15 during Partille Cup 2013. They reached the 1/32 Final in B15 A-Play-off, but lost it against Union Beynoise with 13-16. Viking comes from Stavanger which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than Viking HK, the club Sandnes HK does also originate from the area around Stavanger.
