SC Cometa Dolgoprudny City

SC Cometa Dolgoprudny City was one of 14 clubs from Russia that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to SC Cometa Dolgoprudny City, 56 other teams from 12 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof SC Cometa Dolgoprudny City could be found in Group 4 together with Enköpings HF, Kärra HF, Tyresö Handboll, Baerums Verk IF and Åhus Handboll. SC Cometa Dolgoprudny City continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Waasmunster HK with 8-16. In the Final, TJ Dukla Praha won over Baerums Verk IF and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 13. Cometa Dolgoprudny City comes from Dolgoprudny which lies approximately 1500 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Dolgoprudny does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (SS Tushino Moscow, SS Bibirevo, SS 80 Moscow City, SC Olimp Dolgoprudny City, SS Dolgoprudny, SS Tsaritsyno Moscow and SC Kuncevo).
