Alberta Team Handball

Alberta Team Handball was one of two clubs from Canada that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Alberta Team Handball, 36 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Alberta Team Handball could be found in Group 2 together with HF Flensburg-Munkbrarup, BK Heid, Sogndal IL, Alingsås HK and Lilleström HK-90. Alberta Team Handball continued to B-Play-off after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Ullern IF with 16-18. In the Final, Skånela IF won over Nidelv IL and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 18. Alberta Team Handball also participated in Girls 18 during Partille Cup 2013. They reached the 1/16 Final in G18 B-Play-off, but lost it against Näsby IF 2 with 8-14. Alberta Team comes from Groat Rd which lies approximately 6700 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place.
