IK Skovbakken

IK Skovbakken was one of 34 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to IK Skovbakken, 107 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof IK Skovbakken could be found in Group 17 together with Bergen HK 1, HV Marsna, Gjövik HK, Asköy HK and Spårvägens HF 2. IK Skovbakken continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Hellerup IK 1 with 13-14. In the Final, Hellerup IK 1 won over Skogås HK and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 15. Skovbakken comes from Risskov which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Risskov does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2013 (Among others: Skanderborg HB, Christiansbjerg IF, Hornbaek SF, Vejlby-Risskov IK, Korsholm IF, Four Stars, UH Århus N, Århus Håndbold, Hjortshöj Egå IF and Vorup FB).
