IF Helsinge Atlas

IF Helsinge Atlas was one of four clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to IF Helsinge Atlas, 50 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IF Helsinge Atlas could be found in Group 7 together with GTV Basel, Quebec Handball, IF Hallby, Vang HL and Partille IF. IF Helsinge Atlas continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against SG Steinbach-Kappelwindeck with 11-25. In the Final, Skanderborg HB won over Brabrand IF 2 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 18. Helsinge Atlas comes from Vantaa which lies approximately 780 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Vantaa does also provide two additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2013 (Dicken and Team 99).
