HC Eeklo

HC Eeklo was one of 7 clubs from Belgium that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to HC Eeklo, 93 other teams from 16 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof HC Eeklo could be found in Group 14 together with Lugi HF, Skive FH, Ski IL 2, Valur and HK Aranäs 1. HC Eeklo continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Lidingö SK with 11-14. In the Final, RP IF won over IK Sävehof 2 and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 16. Eeklo comes from EEKLO which lies approximately 910 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around EEKLO does also provide three additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (HBC Evergem, HC Lokeren and Don Bosco Gent HC).
