VRI

VRI was one of 34 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to VRI, 66 other teams from 16 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof VRI could be found in Group 8 together with Hörning Håndbold 2, TJ Sokol Úvaly, IK Sävehof 4, Son HK and H43 Lund 1. VRI continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK with 9-13. In the Final, RK Maksimir Pastela won over Hörning Håndbold 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 13. VRI comes from Risskov which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Risskov does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (AGF Håndbold, Hörning Håndbold, Hjortshöj Egå IF, Hammel GF, Team Favrskov Håndbold, Brabrand IF, TRIF, Skanderborg HB and Hornbaek SF).
