Ranheim IL

Ranheim IL was one of 87 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Ranheim IL, 79 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Ranheim IL could be found in Group 3 together with Fjellhammer IL 1, GF Kroppskultur, IF Hellton, Nordstrand IF 2 and Jahn Duderstadt, TV. Ranheim IL continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Spjelkavik/SIF/Hessa with 12-13. In the Final, Huddinge HK won over Spjelkavik/SIF/Hessa and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 16. Ranheim IL also participated in Girls 15 during Partille Cup 2017. They reached the 1/32 Final in G15 A-Play-off, but lost it against OV Helsingborg 1 with 6-7. Ranheim comes from Trondheim which lies approximately 640 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Trondheim does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (Tiller IL, Klaebu IL, Rapp SPKL, Kolstad IL, Skaun HK, Melhus/Gimse, Strindheim IL, Hommelvik IL and Stjördals/Blink IL).
