GrIFK

GrIFK was one of 6 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to GrIFK, 66 other teams from 16 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof GrIFK could be found in Group 6 together with HK Aranäs 3, IFK Skövde, Waasmunster HK, AGF Håndbold and HC Dukla Prague. GrIFK continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Skanderborg HB with 13-14. In the Final, RK Maksimir Pastela won over Hörning Håndbold 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 13. GrIFK comes from Grankulla which lies approximately 770 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Grankulla does also provide four additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2018 (HIFK Damhandboll, Finland, Dicken and Helsingfors IFK).
