Fortuna

Fortuna was one of 8 clubs from Russia that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Fortuna, 81 other teams from 13 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Fortuna could be found in Group 4 together with Hörning Håndbold, HK 2, Lugi HF 1, Önnereds HK 2 and Langhus IL. Fortuna continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Norrköpings HK with 13-22. In the Final, RK Zagreb won over Hörning Håndbold and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 14. Fortuna comes from Moscow which lies approximately 1600 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Moscow does also provide four additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (SS Tushino Moscow, Palestra sport, Dvorets-Moscow and Dolgoprudniy).
