KIES

KIES was one of 40 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to KIES, 58 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof KIES could be found in Group 7 together with HSV Falkensee, Önnereds HK, IFK Nyköping, Åsane HK 2, Lugi HF 3 and Ull/Kisa IL. KIES continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Lugi HF 1 with 13-18. In the Final, Sorunda IF won over FC Midtjylland and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 18. KIES comes from Copenhagen which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Copenhagen does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Among others: FIF Håndbold, HK 73 Frederikssund, IFK Malmö, BK Ydun, HIK/KFUM, Rödovre HK, Furesø Håndbold, Vaerlöse HK, HK Ankaret and AG Håndbold).
