Sotra SK

Sotra SK was one of 100 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Sotra SK, 60 other teams from 14 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Sotra SK could be found in Group 8 together with H43 Lund 1, TSG Münster, SHV Salzburg, Sunnydale and Suchsdorfer SV. Sotra SK continued to B-Play-off after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Helsingör IF with 15-19. In the Final, Torslanda HK won over THW Kiel and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 18. Sotra SK comes from Straume which lies approximately 490 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Straume does also provide six additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Flaktveit IK, Lövham IL, Tertnes IL, Fyllingen Håndball, Bjarg IL and Åsane HK).
