VIES Håndbold

VIES Håndbold was one of 40 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to VIES Håndbold, 60 other teams from 14 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof VIES Håndbold could be found in Group 7 together with Partille IF, Åsane HK, HC Treia/Jübek, Täby HBK and Lugi HF 1. VIES Håndbold continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against E.C Pinheiros with 20-21. In the Final, Lugi HF 1 won over IK Sävehof 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 18. VIES comes from Vejle which lies approximately 270 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Vejle does also provide three additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Kolding IF, Trelde GI and ÖHK Hedensted).
