Nordby IL

Nordby IL was one of 100 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Nordby IL, 129 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof Nordby IL could be found in Group 3 together with Skövde HF 2, Ull/Kisa IL 2, Eskilstuna Guif, Asker SK 2 and SCF. Nordby IL continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Täby HBK with 12-22. In the Final, Bording KFUM won over Nit/Hak HK 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 14. Nordby comes from Vinterbro which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Vinterbro does also provide 40 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Among others: Haslum IL, Ullern IF, Oppsal IF, Björndal IF, Reistad IL, Konnerud IL, Langhus IL, Oppegård IL, Asker SK and Vestre Bærum HK).
