Vestre Bærum HK

Vestre Bærum HK was one of 100 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Vestre Bærum HK, 75 other teams from 17 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Vestre Bærum HK could be found in Group 1 together with TuS Kriftel, TJ Dukla Praha, IFK Kristinehamn, AGF Håndbold and HC Eynatten-Raeren. Vestre Bærum HK continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Eskilstuna Guif 2 with 15-17. In the Final, Skanderborg HB won over HK Aranäs 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 16. Vestre Bærum comes from Bærums Verk which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Bærums Verk does also provide 40 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2017 (Among others: Hönefoss SK, Haslum IL, Ullern IF, Oppsal IF, Björndal IF, Reistad IL, Konnerud IL, Langhus IL, Oppegård IL and Asker SK).
