ASO Rock Queens

ASO Rock Queens was one of four clubs from Nigeria that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 21. In addition to ASO Rock Queens, 11 other teams from 5 different countries played in Girls 21. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof ASO Rock Queens could be found in Group 1 together with KvIK Sport, Kungälvs HK, Torslanda HK, Frederikshavn F.I 2 and Malta National Team. ASO Rock Queens continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against BK Heid 1 with 12-15. In the Final, Tyresö Handboll won over BK Heid 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 21. ASO Rock Queens comes from ABUJA which lies approximately 5400 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than ASO Rock Queens, the club ASO Rock Kings does also originate from the area around ABUJA.
