Stjarnan

Stjarnan was one of 13 clubs from Iceland that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Stjarnan, 85 other teams from 14 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Stjarnan could be found in Group 8 together with TSV Sieverstedt, HK Eskil, IK Sävehof 2, IL Rival 2 and Skanderborg HB 2. Stjarnan continued to B-Play-off after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Kolding IF with 13-15. In the Final, HK Aranäs won over SOH USV and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 15. Stjarnan comes from Garðabær which lies approximately 1900 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Garðabær does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (Throttur, HK, IR, Fylkir, KR, Fram and Afturelding).
