IF Swithiod

IF Swithiod was one of 91 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to IF Swithiod, 33 other teams from 8 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IF Swithiod could be found in Group 3 together with HK Ankaret 2, Önnereds HK 2, Hornbaek IF, HK Aranäs 1, HC CO Zagreb and OV Helsingborg 1. IF Swithiod continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against El-Shams SC with 6-17. In the Final, El-Shams SC won over Hörning Håndbold 1 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 11. Swithiod comes from Hägersten which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Hägersten does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (Among others: AIK, HK Brätte, Tyresö Handboll, Åkersberga HK, Vallentuna HK, Skogås HK, Haninge HK, Huddinge HK, Skuru IK and IK Bolton).
