SS Dolgoprudny

SS Dolgoprudny was one of 14 clubs from Russia that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to SS Dolgoprudny, 75 other teams from 19 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof SS Dolgoprudny could be found in Group 9 together with HC CO Zagreb, Fet IL, H43 Lund 2, Sandefjord TIF and Tyresö Handboll 1. SS Dolgoprudny continued to B-Play-off after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against TJ Dukla Praha with 8-20. In the Final, HK Aranäs won over TJ Dukla Praha and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 14. SS Dolgoprudny comes from Dolgoprudny which lies approximately 1500 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Dolgoprudny does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (SS Tushino Moscow, SS Bibirevo, SS 80 Moscow City, SC Olimp Dolgoprudny City, SC Cometa Dolgoprudny City, SS Tsaritsyno Moscow and SC Kuncevo).
