Girls High Handball Team

Girls High Handball Team was one of three clubs from Zimbabwe that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Girls High Handball Team, 103 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Girls High Handball Team could be found in Group 2 together with Grankulla IFK, Njård IL, Fram, IF Hellton and Höybråten Stovner IL. Girls High Handball Team continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Stabaek IF 2 with 9-10. In the Final, Sotra SK 1 won over Skogstrand IL and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 15. Girls High Team comes from Harare which lies approximately 8600 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Harare does also provide two additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2014 (Mashrhino and Zimbabwe National Team (SP)).
