In addition to the two Lugi teams, 63 other teams from 17 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Lugi HF 1 could be found in Group 10 together with Elverum IL 1, GIK Wasaiterna, Waasmunster HK, CPH, IK Sävehof 2 and TSV Kappeln. Lugi HF 1 continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Frisch Auf! Göppingen with 13-17. In the Final, Uor-Chehov won over Frisch Auf! Göppingen and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 18.
