Sogndal IL

Sogndal IL was one of 78 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Sogndal IL, 91 other teams from 16 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Sogndal IL could be found in Group 9 together with BK Ydun, HK Aranäs, Fyllingen IL 2, Waasmunster HK and Enköpings HF. Sogndal IL continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IK Våg HK with 11-12. In the Final, Gökstens BK 2 won over Grue IL and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 16. Sogndal comes from Sogndal which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place.
