SS Protvino City

SS Protvino City was one of 27 clubs from Russia that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to SS Protvino City, 85 other teams from 19 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof SS Protvino City could be found in Group 11 together with HK Ankaret 2, RS Zagreb, Union West Wien, RP IF and Strömm IL. SS Protvino City continued to B-Play-off after reaching 5:th place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IK Sävehof 1 with 10-22. In the Final, IK Sävehof 1 won over RK Dubrava and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 15. SS Protvino City comes from Moscow which lies approximately 1600 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Moscow does also provide 25 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2013 (Among others: SC Pchelki Volgograd City, SC Dinamo Volgograd City, SS No 81 Volgograd City, SC Vkor Volgograd City, SC Kirovchanka, SS Kirovskaya, SC Peterburzhenka, SS Moskovskaya, SC Nevskaya Zastava and SC Ultras).
