SS No 81 Volgograd City

SS No 81 Volgograd City was one of 27 clubs from Russia that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to SS No 81 Volgograd City, 82 other teams from 15 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof SS No 81 Volgograd City could be found in Group 9 together with Albertslund/Glostrup, Skånela IF, Näsby IF, Saetre IF Graabein 1, H 71 and Kärra HF 2. SS No 81 Volgograd City continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Spårvägens HF 1 with 18-19. In the Final, Kärra HF 1 won over Torslanda HK and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 13. SS No 81 Volgograd City comes from Moscow which lies approximately 1600 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Moscow does also provide 25 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2013 (Among others: SC Pchelki Volgograd City, SC Dinamo Volgograd City, SC Vkor Volgograd City, SC Kirovchanka, SS Kirovskaya, SC Peterburzhenka, SS Moskovskaya, SC Nevskaya Zastava, SC Ultras and SS Primorskaya).
