Westermalms IF

Westermalms IF was one of 96 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Westermalms IF, 82 other teams from 15 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Westermalms IF could be found in Group 4 together with Lilleström HK-90 1, Stockholmspolisens IF, HSG Mielkendorf / Molfsee I, HK Aranäs 2 and Storhamar 1. Westermalms IF continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Tveter HK 1 with 8-10. In the Final, Kärra HF 1 won over Torslanda HK and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 13. Westermalms comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 20 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2013 (Among others: Stockholmspolisens IF, Bollstanäs SK, Huddinge HK, Åkersberga HK, Täby Handboll, Täby HBK, Skuru IK, Skogås HK, HK Silwing/Troja and Spårvägens HF).
