HC Kraainem

HC Kraainem was one of 13 clubs from Belgium that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 21. In addition to HC Kraainem, 17 other teams from 7 different countries played in Boys 21. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof HC Kraainem could be found in Group 1 together with Lizikonggu Nantong University Handball Team, Önnereds HK, GIK Wasaiterna, HK Varberg and USA National Team (OS). HC Kraainem continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IK Sävehof with 13-20. In the Final, Önnereds HK won over IK Sävehof and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 21. Kraainem comes from Hoeilaart which lies approximately 920 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Hoeilaart does also provide two additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2013 (Elita and EOC Belgium).
