IK Gimletroll

IK Gimletroll was one of 78 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to IK Gimletroll, 91 other teams from 16 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof IK Gimletroll could be found in Group 2 together with Skånela IF, Önnereds HK 2, SC Vesta, TV Rielasingen and Furesø Håndbold. IK Gimletroll continued to B-Play-off after reaching 6:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Klöfta IL with 1-17. In the Final, Gökstens BK 2 won over Grue IL and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 16. Gimletroll comes from Kristiansand which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Kristiansand does also provide two additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2013 (AK-28 and IK Våg HK).
