Åkersberga HK

Åkersberga HK was one of 96 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Åkersberga HK, 112 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Åkersberga HK could be found in Group 14 together with Näsby IF, SC Markranstädt, Brabrand IF, Tjölling IF, IK Sävehof 3 and Åssiden IF. Åkersberga HK continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against TIK Taastrup with 9-14. In the Final, Hellerup IK won over Fredriksbergs IF and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 14. Åkersberga comes from Åkersberga which lies approximately 410 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Åkersberga does also provide 20 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2013 (Among others: Stockholmspolisens IF, Bollstanäs SK, Huddinge HK, Täby Handboll, Täby HBK, Skuru IK, Skogås HK, HK Silwing/Troja, Spårvägens HF and IK Bolton).
