They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Selfoss could be found in Group 11 together with Enköpings HF, Grindsted GIF, HK Ankaret 1, Elverum Håndball and IK Sävehof 2. Selfoss continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IL Gneist 1 with 11-25. In the Final, AGF Aarhus won over Flint Tønsberg and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 16.
