IL Gneist 1

In addition to the two Gneist teams, 95 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof IL Gneist 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Täby Handboll 2, BK Ydun, Kolding IF, Nordstrand IF and IK Sävehof 3. IL Gneist 1 continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Flint Tønsberg with 15-18. In the Final, AGF Aarhus won over Flint Tønsberg and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 16.
