In addition to Grotta, 103 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Grotta could be found in Group 8 together with KFUM Håndball 2, IK Sävehof 1, Skanderborg HB 2, Täby Handboll 1 and HK Ankaret 1. Grotta continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Fjellhammer IL 2 with 12-13. In the Final, Tune IL won over Söreide IL and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 16.
