Åhus Handboll

Åhus Handboll was one of 82 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Åhus Handboll, 83 other teams from 14 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll could be found in Group 10 together with Nordstrand IF 2, Önnereds HK, Strandby-Elling IF, HSG Nordwest 1 and TV Uelzen. Åhus Handboll made it to B-Play-off after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Skanderborg HB 2 with 16-17. Thereby Åhus Handboll finished second in B16 B-Play-off during Partille Cup 2023. Åhus comes from Åhus which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Åhus does also provide two additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2023 (IFK Kristianstad and Kristianstad HK).
