Welta Mechelen

Welta Mechelen was one of 6 clubs from Belgium that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Welta Mechelen, 83 other teams from 14 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 14 different groups, whereof Welta Mechelen could be found in Group 1 together with AG Håndbold, FH, Baekkelaget SK, Reistad IL 2 and Borlänge HK. Welta Mechelen continued to B-Play-off after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Kolding IF with 10-17. In the Final, Skanderborg HB 2 won over Åhus Handboll and became the winner of B-Play-off in Boys 16. Welta Mechelen comes from Mechelen which lies approximately 890 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place.
