VIES Håndbold

VIES Håndbold was one of 37 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to VIES Håndbold, 75 other teams from 16 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof VIES Håndbold could be found in Group 1 together with HEI Håndbold, Gustavsberg IF HK, Lugi HF 3, Trafford Handball Club and MTV Dänischenhagen 2. VIES Håndbold continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against OV Helsingborg 1 with 16-17. In the Final, GOG won over Sine and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 18. VIES Håndbold also participated in Boys 18 during Partille Cup 2022. They reached the 1/4 Final in B18 A-Play-off, but lost it against Önnereds HK with 20-24. VIES comes from Vejle which lies approximately 270 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Vejle does also provide three additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2023 (Kolding IF, Sine and Bramdrupdam GIF).
