HBC Izegem

HBC Izegem was one of 6 clubs from Belgium that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to HBC Izegem, 75 other teams from 15 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof HBC Izegem could be found in Group 8 together with Ribe HK, Önnereds HK, BRH 2, Lugi HF 2 and Nordstrand IF 1. HBC Izegem continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IF Stjernen Odense with 12-20. In the Final, GOG won over Sine and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 18. HBC Izegem comes from Izegem which lies approximately 950 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than HBC Izegem, the club Lomme Lille Metropole HB does also originate from the area around Izegem.
