Vålerenga IF

Vålerenga IF was one of 72 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Vålerenga IF, 100 other teams from 18 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Vålerenga IF could be found in Group 2 together with Eskilstuna Guif, Mumbai Handball Academy, Baekkelaget SK 2, Lugi HF 2 and Scotland Select. Vålerenga IF continued to A-Play-off after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Årsta AIK 1 with 14-20. In the Final, Skanderborg HB 1 won over Valur and became the winner of A-Play-off in Boys 15. Vålerenga comes from Oslo which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Oslo does also provide 33 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2023 (Among others: Nordstrand IF, Ski IL, Ellingsrud IL, Siggerud/Driv, Monolitten IL, Sörumsand IF, Reistad IL, Oppegård IL, Vålerenga HK and Ullern IF).
