Ål IL

Ål IL was one of 72 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Ål IL, 103 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Ål IL could be found in Group 11 together with HIK-VSH, BRH, Kristianstad HK, Kvibergs HK and Raelingen HK. Ål IL continued to B-Play-off after reaching 4:th place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Volda HK with 8-17. In the Final, Lörenskog HK 1 won over Strandby-Elling IF and became the winner of B-Play-off in Girls 16. Ål comes from ÅL which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. Other than Ål IL, the club Norway does also originate from the area around ÅL.
