AIK Handboll

AIK Handboll was one of 82 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to AIK Handboll, 60 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof AIK Handboll could be found in Group 1 together with TSG Münster 1, OV Helsingborg 2, Vessel Positivo CWB, IK Sävehof, Raelingen/Skjetten Håndball Green and Siggerud/Driv. AIK Handboll continued to A-Play-off after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against AGF Aarhus-Viby-Stautrup 2006 with 11-14. In the Final, Skanderborg HB 1 won over AGF Aarhus-Viby-Stautrup 2006 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 18. AIK comes from Solna which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Solna does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2023 (Among others: Bollstanäs SK, Täby Handboll, Skuru IK, IK Bolton, Täby Centrum, Årsta AIK, Huddinge HK, Kungsängens SK, HK Cliff and Haninge HK).
