IL Flint

IL Flint was one of 72 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Partille Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to IL Flint, 60 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof IL Flint could be found in Group 3 together with Trafford Handball Club, HEI Håndbold 2, Lugi HF 1, Ellingsrud IL and BK Heid. IL Flint continued to A-Play-off after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Skanderborg HB 1 with 18-19. In the Final, Skanderborg HB 1 won over AGF Aarhus-Viby-Stautrup 2006 and became the winner of A-Play-off in Girls 18. IL Flint also participated in Girls 18 during Partille Cup 2022. They reached the 1/4 Final in G18 A-Play-off, but lost it against Önnereds HK 1 with 10-21. Flint comes from Tønsberg which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Partille Cup takes place. The area around Tønsberg does also provide five additional clubs participating during Partille Cup 2023 (Halsen IF, Flint Tønsberg, HG Gokstad, Holmestrand IF and Tune IL).
